Overview
A network of neighbourhood shops in Douala to inform, guide and support people towards social protection and health. The project is in preparation: a pilot phase of 10 shops is planned over 6 to 12 months. The shops are not open yet.
Vision
To make every neighbourhood of Douala a place where anyone can find, within reasonable distance, reliable information and practical support towards health, social protection, formalisation and essential services.
Services by area
Awareness-raising, information, guidance, group sessions, documentation.
Information, pre-enrolment / enrolment according to procedures, renewal, assistance, guidance, handling of authorised requests.
Information, administrative and digital assistance, guidance.
Information, guidance to facilities, validated campaigns.
Information, preparation of files, digital assistance, guidance to the competent offices.
Guidance towards employment, entrepreneurship, empowerment and training.
Photocopying, printing, scanning, typing, CVs, letters, binding, laminating.
Online procedures, messaging, downloads, help with online formalities.
Paperwork support for associations, mutuals, cooperatives and small units.

What the shop is not
The shop is not the insurer, not the CNPS and not a government office: it informs, guides and supports people towards the competent bodies and services.
